Madonna is another celebrity isn’t happy to cap her family. The Daily Mail reports that the Material Girl is going to adopt another child, a three year old girl named Mercy James, from Malawi.

Madonna has a long standing interest in the children of Malawi. Her adopted son David Banda came from the region and Madonna made a feature documentary film that looks into the lives of orphaned children that lost their parents to AIDS.

Malawian adoption minister Penstone Kilembe confirmed the adoption reports. He said, “Madonna’s representatives have been visiting the girl. The adoption is now advanced - all the government is waiting for is Madonna to forward the petition of adoption formalities. Then Mercy will be able to leave the country for a new life.”

No word on when that might be, but I imagine it won’t be long before her brood extends by one.

Tom Cruise is a natural when it comes to comedy. Ask anyone who’s laughed out loud at any of his hilarious performances on talk television. Ben Stiller is convinced after working with Cruise on Tropic Thunder.

“Tom said, ‘I want to play the studio guy. I want to dance, and I want to have big hands.’ Tom was doing this little dance, and I was like, ‘This is insane. If this thing was on YouTube, it would be all over the world.’ ,” Stiller said.

Tori Spelling decided not to join the cast of the “90210″ Reunion when she learned that she’d be earning about half of what Shannon Doherty was. Her old castmate Jenny Garth thinks Tori is right to be upset about the snub.

“I’m really bummed. I think she should definitely get paid as much as either of us is getting paid. Her father created the show. It just seems wrong if that’s the case,” Garth told EW

Just how fans will react to Tori Spelling not returning is unknown, but her character used to be considered vital to the program. I can’t say I blame her for not wanting to earn half of what Garth and Doherty are being paid.

The hot summer romance between Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer is cooling off like the autumn days that lay ahead.

US Magazine reports that Mayer and Aniston have broken up. The pair made their relationship public in April and spent many a cozy vacation together while things were still good between them.

Sources say that Aniston told Mayer of her desire to have kids - she’s 39, so theoretically her biological clock is nearing it’s end, but science can always change that - and Mayer must not have been ready for all of that at the tender age of 30, plus he was said to be obsessed with Jennifer’s ex Brad Pitt, which didn’t help matters.

It’s just as well this relationship didn’t end up bearing children.. Imagine how large the babies head would be..

The cause of Isaac Hayes death remains unknown at this time. Hayes passed away on Sunday after family members found him unresponsive next to a treadmill at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Hayes was 65 years old and foul play is not suspected in his death. He had a stroke in 2006 and was currently being treated for a number of medical conditions. A police spokesperson said, “Family members believe at this point it is a medical condition that might have led to his death.”

Hayes had 12 children from four marriages and was a Scientologist.

Tila Tequila hasn’t given up on her dream to have a “Shot at Love.” The reality TV show star that’s looked for love in all the wrong places has a new gal pal.. at least for now.

Ms. Tequila recently hit the town with Courtenay Semel. The pair attended the EA Sports/Xbox 360 premiere of Madden NFL “09 in Los Angeles last Thursday. Tila didn’t want to jinx the relationship but said, “There are no games. It’s true what they say about lesbians–you meet and then the next day you move in together, because I can’t get rid of her. She pretty much lives at my house.”

Courtenay is no stranger to reality television, she starred on the E! Reality TV show Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive in 2005. She’s the daughter of former Yahoo CEO Terry Semel.

Looks like there won’t be a third season of “Shot at Love” if this continues..

Tori Spelling has said “no” to doing a 90210 spin off after finding out that her former co-stars Shannen Doherty and Jenny Garth were getting paid $35,000 -$50,000 per episode and she was only offered $10,000 - $20,000 per show.

Not one to sell herself short, Spelling demanded equal pay but the networks shut her out, so she withdrew from the series that will air this fall on CW.

One thing is for sure, there’s no way to revert time so the glory days of being Donna Martin are over anyway. Shannen and Jenny will have to carry the flag without Tori, but there’s some speculation that she might guest star at some point in time.

Suzanne Somers is no stranger to how it feels to be a cancer survivor and she offered Christina Applegate, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, a bit of advice.

Suzanne wrote an open letter to People magazine that said, “Take your time and think it through. Use your cancer to learn and grow and as a force to work for you. You might choose to take an alternative approach. There are more options than the ones presented to you in the oncologist’s office. You will make it.”

Applegate is 36 years old and the cancer they discovered is in the early stages. Her representative said the disease was non-life threatening and Applegate was following her doctors advice. She’s expected make a full recovery.

Applegate will appear on Stand Up to Cancer a fundraiser that will air on all major networks on September 5, 2008.

The world lost two great talents over the weekend. Bernie Mac, an accomplished actor and comedian died on Saturday after succumbing to complications from pneumonia. Isaac Hayes, a well known musician and voice character died unexpectedly on Sunday.

According to reports, a relative found Hayes unresponsive near a running treadmill on Sunday afternoon. Hayes was pronounced dead at 2:10 p.m. when he arrived at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Although autopsy reports aren’t in, it’s believed that Hayes died of natural causes and no foul play is suspected. He was 65 years old.

Mac was 50 and known for his TV comedy The Bernie Mac Show and his role in the Oceans series. His publicist said his untimely death wasn’t caused by sarcoidosis, a pre-existing lung condition. His wife and daughter were at his bedside when he passed.

Paul Newman has just completed chemotherapy treatment for cancer and has made his last wishes known. The accomplished actor and businessman wants to spend his last days at home.

According to reports, medical professionals have given Newman, 83, weeks to live.

He was recently released from a New York hospital in a wheelchair to return to his home with his wife, Joanne Woodward.

Newman has three daughters with Woodward and two daughters with his ex-wife, Jackie Witte.

His company, Newman’s Own has always donated their profits (after taxes) to charity, so Mr. Newman is a well known for his philanthropy, too. As of mid 2007, his company has donated more than $220 million to charitable causes.
